Fright Night Film Festival is the 3rd largest genre film festival in the Mid America Region and the 3rd Largest Horror Film Festival in America. They are just barely behind the LA and New York shows. It is going to be in Louisville, KY the weekend of July 30th through August 1st.

I am excited about the event and thought that a possible interview with Ken Daniels the Founder and Producer of Fright Night Film Festival. Here is the interview:

HuffingtonPost.com posted an article about a vampire diet that has been circulating the weight loss circuit. It is simply that you eat all things red- red meat,  red fruit and even blood sausage.

Here is a sample of how to make this diet balanced:

New Zealand's national blood agency is using the current popularity of vampires to encourage people to give them the 3,000 donations a week that they need in order to save lives. 

This week we will be looking at the Best of Vampire Television Shows.

The first one is Blood Ties, a supernatural series that aired on Lifetime Television from 2007-2008. It lasted 2 seasons with the last one only being a dozen episodes. The show is based on Tanya Huff's Blood Series.

The 5th House, Eastern Michigan's Harry Potter Club, is planning Expeditious, a Harry Potter Convention for fans and academians. The event will be held at the Court Yard by Marriott  in Ann Arbor, Michigan on May 14th - 16th and is open to anyone 13 and above.

The registration is $60 and the block of hotels are available at a $99 per night rate til April 12th.
